This is a project I did back at the MIT Media Lab with a fellow lab-mate.
PROMPT:
We have a slab of aluminum, a broken bottle opener, and access to a water jet cutter.
CONCEPT:
A bottle opener with the protection and leverage of a set of brass knuckles.
MATERIALS:
Aluminum slab
PROCESS:
Created the cross section in Solid Works, cut aluminum on the water jet, tested efficacy on beer bottle.
